The Irish team to play in the British Isles Championships shows eight changes from that which narrowly won the title last year. J.Quinn Donegal gains his second cap and skips for the first time in what is a new rink apart from A.Paul. The championship takes place on 21&22 November in Llandrindod Wells in Wales. The party will fly to Birmingham on Friday 20th and take a 2 hour coach journey to the hotel returning on Monday 23 November. Last season's narrow win suggests that the gap between the teams is narrowing and in an effort to ensure that players get to know each others game and are familiar with the rules to be used, three practice games will be organised with participation in these is compulsory. The team will also be expected to travel in formal dress.
